Amazing brownies with great texture and a nice hint of coffee

Ingredients

  • 57 g butter, melted
  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 50 g muscavado sugar
  • 40 g milk
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp instant coffee powder
  • 71 g flour
  • 32 g cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 100 g chopped chocolate (I like to mix dark and white)

Instructions

  1. Set the oven to 175°C
  2. Prepare a smaller baking pan lined with baking paper
  3. Mix melted butter, sugar, milk, salt, vanilla sugar and instant cofee powder in a bowl
  4. Sift and mix flour, cocoa powder and baking powder in a separet bowl
  5. Mix the two bowls, and stir in the chopped chocolate
  6. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 30-35 minutes in the bottom of the oven. The surface should look a bit dry and cracked.
