Division Bell

The Division Bell was developed by Phil Ward for the opening menu of his mezcal bar, Mayahuel, in 2009. Ward worked at prominent NY bars including Flatiron Lounge, Pegu Club and Death & Company tæfore opening his East Village mezcal bar. He's made other well known modern classic such as the Oaxaca Old Fashioned and the Final Ward.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml Mezcal
  • 15 ml Maraschino Liqueur
  • 22.5 ml Aperol
  • 22.5 ml Lime Juice
  • Grapefruit peel

Instructions

  1. Shake all ingredients well with ice for 10-12 seconds.
  2. Express grapefruit oils over cocktail. Discard peel.
