Macaroni n’ Cheese
A delicious mac ‘n’ cheese that is best served with a salad or vegetable of your choice. Can be diluted with slightly pre-cooked cauliflower, about ½ to 1 head.

Ingredients
- 400g pasta (+30% if using cauliflower)
- 400g cheese + cheese for gratin
- 1.5dl milk
- 3dl créme fraiche
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 large sweet onion
- ½ to 1 head of cauliflower in pieces, slightly pre-cooked (optional)
- Thyme
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 250°C.
- Cook the pasta according to instructions.
- In a large saucepan, gently bring the milk and crème fraiche to the boil. Once it has come to the boil, add the cheese, pressed or finely chopped garlic and chopped spring onions, pepper and salt to taste.
- Stir and let it melt over low heat, then pour in the pasta.
- Transfer the batter to a baking dish, gratinate with cheese and thyme and cook in the oven for 10-15 minutes, until it has a nice surface.
